Its purpose is to stimulate the communities of the University of Toronto at Mississauga (students, faculty, staff and alumni) as well as local, regional and national communities and to serve as a resource for the academic, arts and educational communities. The gallery presents a year round schedule of art exhibitions which feature Canadian and international contemporary art in diverse media, such as painting, sculpture, video, installation, multi-media works. During March and April each year, the gallery also highlights student work from the University of Toronto at Mississauga and the Sheridan College Art and Art History Program.
